My weathetech can't do that and I'm dissapointed about that. and the front weathertech mats........they don't cover the dead pedal area. What the hell? now that is the only spot that is discoloured and dirtyKnittingEmily wrote:but at least I can still use my pop-up divider.
I noticed the same with mine. Cut a small piece of rubber backed carpeting (ie. a carpeted door mat works well) to place in the dead pedal area. The OEM all weather mats are even worse for coverage. I still prefer the Weathertech's.flybooey wrote:

I've been holding off as well, I like the eBay cargo mat, (with the accessible pop-up divider) but it's not the greatest. If someone doesn't eventually make a better one, I may just end getting some rubber carpeting from home depot and designing my own. I want something that will cover not only the cargo floor but the rear of the back seats (so when I put the seats down, everything is protected).KnittingEmily wrote:I definitely want a cargo mat, but haven't decided which one to go with. Good luck with that - I've never even heard of something like that. I usually keep an old sheet in the car just in case.Msdarkdiva wrote: I want something that will cover not only the cargo floor but the rear of the back seats (so when I put the seats down, everything is protected).
Well no, I don't think I'll ever find a complete mat like the one I described (that's definitely just an arts and crafts project ) but if I'm going to purchase a cargo floor mat, I'd like a better design for the pop-up divider, than what's available.KnittingEmily wrote:Good luck with that - I've never even heard of something like that. I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I bought a 42x60" piece of black rubber backed carpeting for $20 and trimmed it to fit. The excess rolls up nicely behind the rear seat. Then just fold the rear seat, unroll the carpet and everything is protected. I needed something to protect the entire floor including the seat backs and cargo mats just don't do the job.Msdarkdiva wrote:...I may just end getting some rubber carpeting from home depot and designing my own. In addition to your idea, maybe I would add Velcro to the back of my seats so it wouldn't be necessary to roll it up (it would just stay up all the time, depending on how it looked).philipa_240sx wrote:I did the same thing a few weeks ago.
