what iv heard is there is enough slack so you can use a diff with the abs senser. others have not been able too. go to a driveshaft shop and have them shorten it or get a s14 shaft. good luck

An S13 ABS driveshaft is what you would need. Or you can contact a company like shaftmasters to get a 1 piece made up.

I ran a j30 lsd with a non abs driveshaft for like a year, no problems. If you can get the driveshaft go for it, but your non abs driveshaft will work.

IF YOU HAD SEARCHED THEN YOU WOULD HAVE FOUND YOUR ANSWER.

I FOUND THIS WITH A TWO SECOND SEARCH.zerothread?id=164668In the very first post he asked this question.

"but before attempting to squeeze the driveshaft in i would like to know if that 3/4 of extra length will not throw off the phasing of the transmission and driveshaft. who knows?"Isnt that your issue????????

THIS THREAD ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION...

AND THERE HAS BEEN A THOUSAND THREADS ABOUT THIS.

GET THE SHAFT FROM THE GUY AND INSTALL IT, BUT DONT TELL ME YOU SEARCHED BECAUSE THERE ARE PLENTY OF THREADS ABOUT THIS TOPIC SPECIFICALLY.

granted you found something about a ka driveshaft fitting on a j30 diff. not about the jdm s13 diff. and i already saw that thread you put up. so kick back already bro if you have such a problem at looking at someones thread. i just dont like the whole assuming you didnt search deal cus if you look at what time i put up the thread it was at 3:39 am. it shouldn't even matter what time i made the thread so just be cool about it. im not trying to be a d!ck.

I'm not trying to be a d!ck either, just that I go on here daily while at work and sorry, but I am tired of seeing the same old topics...

"I want to buy a 240sx""My ABS driveshaft doesnt fit""I've searched, does anyone know what a Z32 maf is?"

Those are all topics covered by other members a thousand times over. There is no reason to create yet another thread about a topic that has been covered more than 5 times.

If you had searched and read the posts then you would have seen:

"well I can say from experience that the ABS driveshaft on a non-ABS S13 makes the car turn into one big vibrating massager on acceleration and deceleration"

Now what about that statement isnt clear. Now, your situation is similar to this, right. Then how hasnt this not only answered the question but solved your problem. Your thread if it was gonna be a noob topic should have been.

Where do I find an ABS driveshaft.

BTW...KA and SR driveshafts are identical, therefore, any topic about ABS KA,SR,J30 diffs or driveshafts will pertain to you. So, I dont see where you searched...

The KA, SR, J30, JDM lsd, etc... are all r200 diff cases. The only differences from diff to diff might be the rear covers and the gear sets themselves. The ABS cases are 1/2" to 3/4" longer than the non ABS case, as you have noticed.

Actually, just bored at work, but if you would like to be wrong, I will make it so. Just tired of you noobs comin in here and asking your stupid overcovered questions. If you are not one of them then you should agree, and I see that you arent asking alot of redundant questions, therefore, this doesnt pertain to you and you should just move on. Glad you got your free post, and hope you have a great day. Along with the OP which I hope works the issue out. My intentions were to help, and there are threads here already out there about this topic and many others that are told to search.

Well everyone has to start somewhere. Were you born all-knowing about the ways of the s-chassis? People get on Nico to get help, or give help... not to make it known how amazingly smart they are or how they hate noobs.
