Just picked up a 93 hatch

So after searching for about three or four months i found this.It's a piece but has no rust, and i got it for $600.I'll get better pics later.











I bought it, and it was running on three cylinders, and has a massive oil leak. 180,000 roughly. All the wiring for the car and stereo was ghetto rigged and half of it didn't work.The passenger door panel is only 75% on the door the window is retarded i think the pulleys are tangled, i have no passenger mirror, i bought one threw autozone put it o in the parking lot, i sat down in the car and the mirror fell off. I was already pissed off so i just left.I tore it all apart this past weekend got it running and idling good with just a basic tune up the timing chain rattle thing is still an issue, but oh well.But i think it was a good buy. I rattle canned the sun fade on the bumpers... looks a little better but not buy much lol.I'm just hoping the ka lasts me till i have enough money for an engine swap.

Its a 5-speed, and i want this motor to last me about a year, so i can save up for coils, wheels, and another motor. probably going to be sr, maybe another ka with T attached to it lol. not 100% percent sure yet. and yeah $600 was good, its just i had 300zx before this and this is like a down grade completely lol but this has more potential in the long run and is insanely cheaper for parts.But im happy with it.

New update kinda.... lol

I decided to attack the timing chain and it didn't go to well. I broke just about every bolt during the process, so yeah... But i fixed my rattling, my guide 1st was just laying on top of my chain. My tensioner needed to be oiled. and now its all good and quite. So im happy with it, and i have to go to the dealership for bolts now. But heres some pictures and i painted the valve cover, cause "its the cool thing to do"

Nice buy honestly, 600 i wouldnt complain, i paid 1k for my 92 hatch..purchased with rusty rockers..and frame rails, all getting fixed though, + i got the timing and clutch being all redone currently, atleast you front end is straight, my headlights are crooked.

i myself was a 300zx owner before this 240 also..My 300 started to lemon out on me after a few weeks of purchase..then it got stolen..so thats that lmao..
