you just bought this from chris, didn't you?

seems like a pretty clean car. good luck and let us know if you need anything.

also, let me know when you blow up the motor or transmission and want to sell it, because i want it.

lastly, you're going to want to read the faqs and stickies in this forum and in the other 240 forums. there's a lot of information out there and if you really want to learn about these cars, you're going to have to spend some time researching. there's just too much for us to just tell you in this little post. so take the initiative and do your homework. it'll be well worth it.

Welcome to the forum! Also There are a lot of good things about the 240 vert. You can pretty much mod the hell out of the car and make it go fast or mod it for drifting. Whichever you prefer. Just research different posts and look at what other people are doing to there verts. Some leave them Stock others do not. Its totally up to you.

The goods are: You can mod it anyway you like. If you get tired of the automatic transmission, you can put in a manual transmission very easily.

The bad: Well there isnt really anything bad with the car unless you abuse it.

Also my name is Matt! lol

Welcome to the forum Matt,Nice find.... any mods done yet? These Verts have their little quirks, but no worse than any other car. If you still have the automatic, I would say that it is about the biggest problem most have dealt with... Use the Search button on that one and you will find a wealth of information on how to fix it easily and not get jacked by some transmission shop. The timing chain guides are probably the second most common... again an easy fix. And I would think the rear window guides are up there too... proper lubing will help keep that in check... and most of all.... enjoy the car. They are fun and always an eye catcher because of their increasing rarity... if you have questions ... ask.. this is a pretty laid back group and usually always willing to lend some direction...

Oh yea... make sure you hit the registry and put up the vitals (helps everyone keep track of the ones still on the road... and some that aren't)
