I was pushing 478hp on it most of it's life. Rebuilt 3x, new engine 2x. 84k miles later I was happy to get rid of it.
Soundsystem (kicker, stock) was awesome in it though.
Dodge has been making 4 banger turbo setups since 1990 I think they know what they are doing...BigBodyV wrote:Dodge making a four banger turbo= FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long live the 90's Eclipse...I owned 5 of them 97-99 models. Most fun I had in a car 97 GS Turbo.msb0b wrote:Chrysler made plenty of turbo I4 engines in the 80's and you could get them in practically any model. Shelby, Daytona, Charger, Spirit, to name a few. Even Caravan had a turbo option.
In the 90's, Chrysler had the Mitsubishi clones: Dodge Stealth, Plymouth Laser and Eagle Vision.
Chrysler has plenty of experience in turbocharging, certainly more than either GM or Ford.
Nice to know you got rid of that crap. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep is crap overall. That much I can say so them making any car = FAIL!!!!!!!!!BigBodyV wrote:Dodge making a four banger turbo= FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
