just ordered pulley

hey guys, i just ordered the asp pulley, i know the part #'s for the belts, but where do i get em and what brand are they? thanks

i always order my belts from http://www.rockauto.com/ probably easier just to go to the local autozone or something. i typically only use Gates belts when I can find the right size

use 19062 as the discount code to save a LITTLE. it expires on Jan 31 2003

well none of my local parts store have the gates belts, they dont even know to how to cross reference them...where the F do you get em? rockauto doesnt have em either...

Search the net for a comparable belt... I remember seeing it somewhere. Try the 240SX.org FAQ.

rock auto has em usually just easier to search by part #. what sizes do you need. all i need to know is how many ribs and length.Here's the gates format:K040355 K0(#of ribs)(length of belt in inches must be 4 digits)0355=35.5"

another helpful site that was recently recommended to me by project-ser from Louisvillestreets.com is http://www.mcmastercarr.com it's not belt related but they have an awesome setup. i found what i needed very quickly in their huge database.

TommyJ, I responded to your emails about the pulley. The belt sizes you will need are 290K4 for the alternator and 385K3 for the power steering. As for a/c belt, its remains the same size.

The alternator belt will be a tight fit.
