The key, is the centerline of the wheel.
They dont have the offsets determined yet. I think on the the 22x9 and 22x10 they want to go with a +32 offset. But I want the 22x9.5 and 22x10.5 so I can have a bigger lip and might use the same offset.PIONEER wrote:I like the wheels.
on 22" with a 295 tire I'm afread its going to rub on your F50. What Offsets have you ordered. I think the F50 can fit 10.5 rims with +40-45 Offset on 275 Width tires without rubbing.
22" brings the rim too close to the strut and fender that there's not a whole bunch you can play with the Tires. On a 19-20" you have a little more rubber so it can be pulled in a little with negative camber.
I'm looking at some Lexion 203 or 401 now in 19" with a 19x9 19x10 setup. Found some great prices, just waiting to pull the trigger.
To be honest, I can't see any indication of that wheel rubbing??2005Q45inCali wrote:You can tell the fender is rubbing on that wheel. I'm suprised they didnt roll the fender on the Axis Q
I seriously doubt that the 40 to 45mm offset in a wide wheel width is going to work - you will most likely hit suspension components.PIONEER wrote:on 22" with a 295 tire I'm afread its going to rub on your F50. With 22" wheels, an offset of +32mm might work out where you do not need any rolling, but I would be very surprised. I think you will prefer to roll so that you do not have tire contact with the fender.2005Q45inCali wrote:So now I just decided to go with the original plan which is 22x9 and 22x10 and offset will be +32 which they gurantee will fit with no problems which includes not having to roll the fender.
I going with the 10" width instead of 10.5.. the guys at GFG insist there should be no rub but we will see.PIONEER wrote:on a 22" wheel with +32 offset and a 285 or a 295 tire it will rub on the fender side I'm almost 99% sure.
My 285 with a +38 offset were borderline and the hair on the tires would rubb when I went over big humps in the road.
the 10.5 with a 285 or 295 will rub for sure. I don't think the problem is the Rim. The problem is your choice on tire size. on a 10" with a +32 I think 275 will be a good match.. but Its tough to put a 275 tire and keep the speedo in check. Thats why I went with 285 in my old setup.
