Real Newbie here, although I have had Nissan's many times before, and even a Q45! However, my wife just totalled her 2002 Frontier Supercharged Crew Cab (Truck vs tree), and now she does not want to drive a truck anymore. (even though it probably saved her life)

Anyway, I told her if I was going to give up my Q, then I wanted one bad assed truck, so I bought a 4x4 Titan LE. Should be here in a week or so.

So, anyone else here have a Titan? Everything I have read about them has been positive. I just wondered what "real" people think about them. One thing I can say, is this sucker is BIG. I am not sure it will fit in my garage! Only time will tell!

Anyway, hope to be around here for a while.

Later,

:-jon

Picked up the Truck today. Titan LE 4x4 Crew Cab.

The bed is kinds small, length wise. I wish it was the same size as the King cab bed. Other than that, this thing is sweet. Took me about 5 minutes to get used to the size and I was cruisin.

It handles like a sports car (almost). Very smooth ride. (I do not have off road tires) Lotsa room, nice tunes, great visability.

I will post pictures tomorrow, if I ever get out of the truck! :D

I just posted a few quick pictures of my Titan LE in the members rides area. I could not figure out how to link the 3 pictures together, so they are all seperate.

So far, so good. This thing is sweet!

Yeah I really love how the titans look, but I have never even heard one running. Does the engine seem powerful enough? Aren't they a 5.4L? Of course I will never be able to get one, since I can't even afford a 240sx, but to tell you the truth I would spring for a 2000 F-350 with the 7.3L Turbo diesel before a Nissan truck ;) I still love Nissans tho heh

its a 5.6L twin cam V-8 rated at 305 HP the thing will put you in the seat on take off. The truck is not meant to compete with a 1 ton dually it is meant to compete with a 1/2 f 150. Nissan initially had no intention of trying to compete with all 3 levels of the big 3 trucks. they only wanted to step into the door of full size trucks and suv's. I have driven several of them. I would buy nothing but the titan when purchasing a full size truck.

I think the Titans are such nice trucks. I thought they might be too big at first, but now I think it's just perfect. Big engine, real nice inside. I'm proud to be a fellow nissan driver when they come out with a truck like that.

Im trying to talk my dad into this truck as his next vehicle. It would pull our boat ( 2002 18' Larson Bowrider180 powerd by 190 hp 4.3L chevy) nicely.
