Check your whole fuel system: injectors, lines, fuel filter and fuel pump. If you had a full fuel tank and drove 80 miles and now have half a tank, then you definatly have a leak somwere. If your power band feels hesitant then obvously your not getting enough fuel to the cylinders because of a leak. So do not smash the pedal at any time or you will will lean out and detonate. Do you have a wide band by anychance?

I have the same problem. I get 60 miles on 1/2 tank. EXCEPT I don't have a gas leak I had already fixed mine. But with the fuel mileage issue I am having the same thing and need advice as well. My injectors, MAF are both good. New fuel filter all new fuel lines.

If al you repaced was the turbo check the exhaust gasket Between turbo and mani. Also take it to a shop that has a smoke machine and have all your pipes checked for leaks. I just did this and found leaks that I swore were not leaking! I fixed the leaks and my car is now the fastest its ever been.

if you have any exhaust leaks before the o2 sensor then it will throw it off and cause you too run a little richer but i dont think thats your case..when you swapped to the 71 trim did you change injectors at all? An how acurate is your fuel gauge? I know mines goes 80+ miles on an empty tank. and as for wide band goes look in the clssified section here on nico youl get way better deals then buying brand new from a store.

what injectors, fuel management are you using? Are you using a compatible fuel pump and is your FPR functioning properly? All these things will help people determine what you should be looking at.....Who-ever sold the AFR gauge to you was just trying to move a useless product, unless it is a wideband it will not do anything for you.

well before i swapped turbos i could go amost 100 miles with out the needle even movin..i was told by zerolift that i can keep everythin stock as long as i stay at the 7lbs mark..if i want more boost id have to go get a tune but they said i can keep stock injectors n maf..i have the walboro 255 pump other than that everything fuel wise is stock..

Thats not safe to run a 2871r at 7psi your still to close to maxing everything out...maybe a s14 t28 but def not a 2871r. Your not feeling the power due to extra turbo-lag because the 2871r is huge compared to a s13 t25. You NEED 550 min injectors and a new maf, you also NEED to tune you pcm to compensate for the added fuel/ air. once you do that you will be able to up the boost and enjoy your turbo. Your using more gas because your maxing out all of your fuel system, and your probably always in boost.....Also change your FPR, stock ones fail when put under the stresses of a larger volume fuel pump. The gas you smell in the car is probably a bad tank seal from when you changed your pump. I run 740cc inj, N62 maf, 2871r .62 with a emance tune...during boost I get like 10mpg on the highway out of boost in 5th gear I get close to 30mpg.

You can get some ebay injectors for cheap. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but a lot of the after market injectors are made by the same people. When I was big ballin I just got the tomei 740's.

Definitely get quality parts for your fuel system especially FPR. I'd do a quality tune as well such as JWT. I personally have had bad experiences with E-mance.

You guys can't just swap a bigger turbo on without leaving the stock fuel system. It's common sense if you're adding more air you need to add more fuel

Your engine is cutting out because it's running too lean and it needs more fuelGet bigger injectors and a tune
