So pick up kids Friday. Go to pick up wife to drop off her Murano at Nissan to replace FLCAs (another complaint story there).

On highay. Busy as usual. No time to swerve the yellow tie down strap in my lane. Of course the big ratchet was on it. 100 ft later flat right rear tire. Got to change it and a woman's focus left rear who hit it right after me. My wheel was quiet stubburn to come off as well, lots of kicks.

Of course the tire has a cut sidewall. Tires a a month old. So far at infiniti waiting on new Yokohama S-drive to get there. Afraid of what they'll charge me. Have a Q50 in the meantime.

Oh. Anyone with cool seat issues? They are looking into that as well. On highest setting its loud and vibrates the drivers seat.

Vibrating drivers seat sounds like a bonus! :woot: I haven't had any issues with the cooling other than it seems over time to be a bit less effective. My guess is the perforations in the foam get squished letting less air though. That might be causing the fan to work harder thus generating the noise and vibration. Hopefully it's covered under warranty.

That sucks about the tire though. I have the S drives also. I'm really happy with those tires.

Apparently cool seat fixed itself. Not vibrating anymore.

Damn $238 for a tire is ridiculous though. Local tire shop quoted me $194 installed.

Just curious but why would anyone go the dealer for a tire?

Already had an appt for the seat issue. And was hopeful for a deal since I just had bought the car.

I actually got my last set of tires from my dealer. They price matched Discount Tire's price. We looked up competitor prices while I was standing there. They also provided free road hazard and replaced a tire no charge when I killed one on some road debris a few months later. And they don't charge for the rotations so I get that done when I'm in for regular service.

Dealers may differ but don't write off Tire's from your dealer before you've had a chance to check it out with them first.

Why would anyone go the Dealer for a Tire?

I think I will go to Dealer next time. I researched and shopped around for the best price on the mode/brand tires I wanted (Bridgestone Turuaza Serenity Plus). Well, now I have a tire vibration/rough-raod-feel that I don't like. I went back to Tire Store, but they say it is not the tires, it is the car. So I go to Infinity (car is still under warranty) and they say it is not the car, it is in the Tires. I tend to believe Infinity since the problem got a little better with a rotation. However, if I bought the Tires from Infinity in the first place, they would have make it right. I saved about $20 to $25 per tire buying from the local Tire discount place, but I'm not all that happy now and would have rather spent the extra $ in hindsight.
