I was two days away from quitting smoking cigarettes right. Guess what happened............ I burned a hole in my driver seat by accident. I was pulling out of my apartment complex when someone almost hit me so I had to slam on my brakes which caused me to hit my cherry off my cigarette, which in turn burned my seat. How much do you think it would cost to get it fix/ reupholster from Nissan? I added some pics, the burn is about the size of a pea. [IMG][/IMG]

I know it's nasty that's why I quit. I'm not really looking for opinions on bad habits, I'm just wondering ballpark figure how much would it cost to fix.

It's the cigs way of getting back at you for quiting. But stick to your guns and dont start back up. everytime you need inspiration, just look at your seat.

P.S. that really does suck, but just all the more reason to quit.

people, the man said he is not looking for opinions about smoking.

I say put two nice seat covers on those front seats. Or find a matching color to paint that spot

I had this happen to me. Was asking around for help, got the same ****, lol. But a friend of mine ended up buring it. If it's not too deep, all you need is a new cover, and hog rings. I did it myself. It's not too hard, but it did take some time. I could help if you need. There is one wire you gotta disconnect in the back of the seat though. And if you wanna keep the same foam, you gotta carefully cut the existing hog rings out.

Smoking in your car depreciates the value so much. i really don't understand why people do it

I guess we all have our vices, so I'm not gonna pass judgment.

To the OP, time for a leather upgrade?

yeah that does suck, but its actually not too expensive to fix... my dad used to do work like that all the time. you def DONT need a new seat for a burn that small. i dont know an exact price for it by my best bet would be to check the yellow pages, find a couple ppl that do that kind of work in your area, and get some estimates. either that or look for a DIY kit somewhere... again it shouldnt be too much tho

hope that helps

here's a company that offers leather sliders for the coupe. call them for better pricing than listed on the website if you're interested.
