Been having problems with a slight tire leak, now that I had time I decided to take it off and check it out..Turns out I have a hairline crack on the inner part of the rim :soap:
Looks like I'll be riding on the donut for a little while..

I can just weld the rim since it's not bent or anything, but I decided to go ahead and order a new one (just to have a backup) since I don't have any stock wheels. I found the rim at carid.com for $215 which was the absolute cheapest around. I called carid and waited on the phone for 45 min just to talk to someone. He tells me they are having difficulties due to a power outage from a hurricane. I blew that off and placed my order on Tuesday Oct. 30 (which was guaranteed to be delivered in 3-4 days), got my confirmation #, and happily waited till the next Tuesday Oct. 6 for my rim.

That Tuesday I decided to call them, just to make sure my rim was on the way since I have been driving on the spare for a week now. I call and give them my confirmation # and WHAT DO THEY TELL ME?!?! Apparently someone forget to send me an "agreement email" or some BS that I was suppose to reply to before my order could be shipped. After a few choice words, the guy ended up sending me the "agreement email" I had to reply to.

Needless to say I was pissed..on my online bank statement it shows that they withdrew the money from my account on Oct 31 the DAY after I made my purchase. They took that money from me WITHOUT MY ORDER EVEN BEING SHIPPED!!! :bs:

The guy told me my order should be in by Nov 12, so now I have to wait ANOTHER WEEK for my rim.

CARID IS BULL****!! I hope none of you ever order from them.

That sounds like my ordeal with my diffuser. I won't mention any names because they might be a sponser.

I ordered it in May. They said they wouldn't charge my CC till it shipped. Well, they finally shipped me one in about August AND IT WAS THE WRONG THING!!! They sent FedEx to pick it up, but wouldn't credit my CC. They said if they credited me, that would take me off of the waiting list for my diffuser. WTF! Did they really think I'm going to pay interest on $300 for no telling how many months? I'm not that stupid. I just cancelled. :tisk:
