Your car looks great man!

Props!

Hows it ride with the springs? I take it they are s-techs. I think that is what I will go for. My front end is almost as high as yours was.

o gosh that factory wheel gap was ridiculous. looks like you could have changed the struts and springs without even taking off the wheel or jacking up the car. lmao

nice drop...I just bought a 91 coupe bone stock and just like you my car was way up there in the sky!!!!I could fly over speedbumps like a truck.

I installed some S-tech's on the stock shocks and it looks great too just like yours. Lots of people complain about the hieght of S-tech's but I think they are perfect for daily driving. Not slammed, but just right!

I was just making that assumption because there's a ten month gap between your first post and the one before it, so I figrured you dug up the thread by searching. Man, I want some s-techs now. Looks good

Won't the S-techs blow the GR2's prematurely?

If not I'm going to order this setup, it's completely perfect for my purposes (daily driver ONLY).

Hell, I even have the same car, lol. White S13 chuki coupe (only yours is a lot nicer than my POS).

Wow, this is an old thread indeed.

I know that in comparison to the AGX's, the GR2's are the equivalent of the 2/4 settings on the AGX compared to OEM. I think if you choose a spring that lowers 1.5" or less you should get a good amount of life from the GR-2s.

For someone who has coilovers, I wouldn't waste your time with mediocre sportlines. Just get some KTS coils like you mentioned.

p.s. and do a search on Sportlines, much has been discussed about them and what they do to struts. (hint: I think the Suspension FAQ has some info from a KYB rep in there).

Do the S-tech's only drop 1.5"? Looks like a lot more from his before/after pics.

Anyway, I might go this route. If I can get 2 years out of the setup I'll be thrilled, because by then I'll be daily driving something else and I can put spine-rattling coilovers on the S13.
