I'm trying to debadge my car (everything but the nissan emblem) and I want to know the easiest way to do it. I'm scared though I don't want to mess it up and have it repainted or anything. Any suggestions?

i just debadged my a/c a few days ago its pretty easy. all u need is some floss, a hairdryer, and wd-40 or goo-gone (something to remove stickey stuff). take ur hairdryer and heat up the emblems on the back for 15-30 sec depending on how hot they already are (i live in ny so its like 90 outside didnt heat them for longer than that) then u take ur floss and wrap each side around ur fingers and put the floss between the emblem and the adhesive/tape/stickey stuff behind it (not between the paint and adhesive). use a saw like motion to seperate the emblem from the ahesive stuff and it will come off easily like butter. after that u can use ur nails to get most of the adhesive off with a little bit remaining ull see the outline of altima and 2.5s but thats okay. then u take ur wd-40 (easiest bc it doesnt affect paint like some other products) and i just sprayed that stuff on a cloth and rubbed 3-5 times and between each time id just use my nail to get the rest of the tape adhesive stuff off. use wax or polish to clean up after its nice and smooth or just water and soap like me. took me 10 min. ur welcome :)

looks like this
