I just installed a short ram air intake, and it seems like the throttle cables are stuck, floored. So i start up my car, ready to see how it goes, and VROOOOOMMM it just rev's up, so i had to turn off the car real quick. Im pretty sure that when ur under the hood and making it rev up u have to push down, well u cant now u can only pull up. Ne ideas?

Uh, when you put it on did you happen to leave something inside that would keep the the tb open?

OK, so if you're sure the tb is closed then it shouldn't rev up when starting. Are you talking about it revs to redline, or just to a couple thousand rpm and stays?

It revs to about 5k rpms, and then slowly rises. AT the start it just jumps to 5k and then a slow rise up towards redline. Could it be idle?

Found the issue. One of the clamps was blocking the throttle so it would just rev up. It was keeping it from going all the way down to just idle.
