just installed my nismo exhaust

so i just got my nismo exhaust installed onto my 2.5s, the sound is amazing on the outside but the droning is kinda a lil too much imo but probably cuz im not used to it yet? also there is this awful smell lol but i read that its gonna go away after a few hundred miles. as far as the droning goes does it get quieter after its been broken down?

is there anything else i need to worry about or am i good to go?

and god was this a expensive mod. lol

the sound does come down a little bit but still really loud in the back seats. but oh well its a great sound so its worth having

What was the total cost? if you don't mind me asking. I wanna upgrade my exhaust also.

i got it from leeparts.com it was 868$ shipped for the 2.5s nismo catback exhaust.

now i have a question of my own, the droning is kinda too much for my taste imo. is it the same for you 2.5er's out there? I know that in a few hundo miles its gonna quiet down a lil but will this little difference cause the droning to lessen by a fair amount? If it doesnt is there a way to soften down the droning?this is only bothering me because i do have passengers in the back at times and i dont want em to feel uncomfortable for long rides na mean? lol

My exhaust doesn't drone... err, well at least I don't notice it/doesn't bother me anymore.

damn that is an expensive mod. i just hear that the full cat back doesn't give you much of a power gain. buuuuuuuuut i feel that the muffler is the most restrictive part. i haven't looked at my exhaust setup yet but i just plan on getting an axleback exhaust.....cheaper too!

yea i'm sure the smell will be there but it will go away. i bought some pacesetter headers for my frontier when i had my factory replaced and it had some cheap paint on it that burnt off of it after they heated up. it stunk and kinda smoked but went away after a while. didn't take long. but now they don't look as pretty as they did when i had them sitting in the box.unfortunately the nice sound went away after a while :[
