Alright well i just installed my coilovers today(KTS). First, the coilovers dont have a bracket to mount the ABS wire on the front wheels, anyone else here have an ABS-equipped KTS car? secondly, when i left the shop my abs light came on after startup as soon as i went past 10mph. Lastly, i was on my way to work and when i started to accelerate, i could here my ABS actuators in the HCU workin, then when i tried to hit the brakes, i barely had any, cuz my abs must've been constantly running. i pulled over and disconnected a plug going to the hcu, and now it's fine..... Im guessing when i lowered it, it messed w/ the air gap on the sensor?? im confused, because i never messed w/ the senor during installation.

Haven't been around abs 240's but I would just zip tie it some where safe on the shock....Did the wire originaly run next to the brake line? if so I would just jip tie it to the brake line bracket like you shoulda done with the brake line.I dunno if there would be any heat issues(how hot do brake lines get?) if you run them right next to each other though....

as far as the other stuff...have you checked the connections? possibly haveing the wire loose and bouncing around while you where driving pull it off partialy?

Thats what you get for having abs

i knew i was gonna get this response sooner or later lol. the last accident i was in could have been saved if i had abs, so i wouldnt mind having it.

right now it's zip tied, but i don't want it to eventually rub through the line. the factory strut had a seperate bracket so you could bolt it right next to the brake line. im guessin im gonna have to fab up a mount for it.

the sensor is bolted to the backing plate, so it never can move. the air gap on those sensors to the hub ring is very small, and just alittle can set it off, but im still confused on how my abs would be constantly engaging....
