--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just installed my PopCharger and a Z-tube 2 days ago. I love it. The sound is unbelivable. But i had a few questions though.

1) Why is the whisling noise not constant. It only whissles when i push the accelaration pedal about 1/3 and keep it there. If i push it harder the whissling goes away. Is that the way it should be?

2)The back of the filter is very tight to some sort of bracket. Is it fine?

3) and the last question is what does the 5/16" spacer do? Better sound/ performance?

I am concerned since this was the first thing i had ever done to a car. I just want to make sure that its all right. But the Sound is unbelivable. I nearly cried when the RPM reached 6000. However i now only shift at about 4.5 RPM all the time. Just cant get enough of the sound and the whissling.

Whistling is normal, mine does the same thing. You won't be disappointed with the spacer either.

The spacer just increases the volume of air the plenum can "ingest". The more air that you can get into the cylinders, the more hp you make.

Exhaust was $1600.00 installed. That was at the dealer so a little high but, they cover it just like it is a stock part. they are one of the dealers that do a lot aftermarket installs and waranty what they sell.

Whistle is normal. Don't worry about it.

Without seeing exactly what you are talking about regarding the filter it is hard to say, but it sounds like nothing to worry about.
