Just installed Avic D3 on my 07 AltimaEverything works fine, except...

1. My "Auto-Up" function for the front windows dont work anymore!!! How do I fix this? I dont remember messing with this part during the installation?

2. The airbag light on the spedometer (not the one below the AC vent) keeps on lighting up.

3. How do I set the D3 so that it converts to the reverse camera automatically when I put into reverse? (the power is tapped in accessory, D3 harness is connected to the reverse wire)

HELP!!!

1. should be a programing sequence in the owners manual.

2. pull a code and find out why its flashing.

3. In the system menu there is an option to turn on the reverse input.

2) On newer Nissans, if you disconnect the passenger airbag on/off light while the key is on, it will throw a SRS light. I can't remember on the Altima, but all of the other Nissans I have worked on, the passenger airbag light is on the trim that surrounds the radio. So naturally when installing a new radio, many people have this unplugged and turn the key on to test out the radio or what have you, and throw the SRS light.

we've covered all of these issues in the Altima Coupe forum...let's see..

1. for the auto up feature on the window.... roll the windows down jut below halfway, then roll them both back up and KEEP YOUR FINGER ON THE UP BUTTON for an additional 5 seconds. This will reset the auto up feature. (Its in the manual)

2. For the airbag light, Reset ProedureThis procedure has worked for some people. Others claim it does not work, however it was pulled directly from the official Nissan Service Manual. So if it does not work for you, then there may be a problem with your airbag system and it should be checked out. 1. Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON. 2. Air Bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, the turn ignition switch OFF within 1 second after the lamp turn off. 3. After ignition switch is turned OFF, wait for more than 3 seconds. 4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 two more times. (Perform 3 times in total.) 5. Turn Ignition switch ON. 6. The SRS lamp has been reset it.

3. For the auto reverse, you need to connect the purple/white wire from the Avic unit to the reverse wire at the taillight. The wire on the taillight is red with a blue stripe. once you tap into that, make sure you turn the feature on inside the Avic, and you'll be set..

OK, all of that info was worth appox $100... I take cash and money orders (no personal checks!...lol.. just joking, your problems should be fixed!
