Installed a new coil over. A megan on s13.

I only installed a pair of rear because of time. Will this be a negative effect on the car?

I bought a new torque wrench but couldn't figure out how to use it. So I ended up tightening the bolts just short of extremely tight. Will this be a problem? Should I retighten the bolts ASAP?

torque wrench is easy to use. set the torque, push untill it clicks, you will know. it is important to torque those bolts correctly. rear only wont affect anything too much, but i wouldnt ride like that for too long.

God... I never heard any clicks! I was waiting for one. Only felt resistance getting stronger and I kept swiveling. So are you saying that the boldts may snap up at one point?

I didn't know which side the coilovers would fit onto but eventually figured it out by looking at the very bottomg of the strut. But the strange thing was that left side coilover was too angled inward that I had hard time pushing it into the holes on the top plate while raising the lower control arm with a jack. The other side was easy, didn't have this problem. Was I doing something wrong?

lol no they will not snap if undertorqued. you have to way overdo it to snap them, with an impact wrench or somthing, it would be very hard to do by hand.

set your wrench to 70ft/lbs, put it on a lug nut, and tighten, that will give you the fell of it "clicking", it will also move a few degrees when it clicks, i cant describe it but you will know
