yeah, it's not quite "done" yet lol the motor just went back in on friday

just showing off that it's finally running (for those who remember, my oil feed hole was cross threaded and then stripped...so i had to pull it out and repair that)

so after replacing the front end, then pulling and repairing the motor, it's finally running.

I've spent the weekend putting various things together, and it's rained all day yesterday.

i'll post better pics when it's all painted up

Good to see its put together and it has straight body panels now. I hit a tree and it did alot more damage. But then again I was going pretty fast.

So you were running with your bumper off? Well I guess it wouldnt really make a difference since fiberglass doesnt do anything to absorb energy from impact....

I cant believe that crash was going only at 12 mph...

The bumper support is behind the bumper, it is not in the actual bumper its self. Unless you took your old one of for some reason, yours should still be there. The reason he took his off before was due to the intercooler.

exactly...it's a big metal bar that "houses" the turn signals...

i didnt have it before and the front end was worthless in the crash

There has to be a way to keep an intercooler and your bumper support, guys.

I had to take my bumper support off in order to fit my bumper.....

So does everyone take their bumper support off in order to install a FMIC?

It depends on the piping and the intercooler, sometimes you can trim the bumper support and get the piping to squeeze in, or if your good you can making custom piping to fit alos, however quite a few people don't bother and just take it off.

the best setup to possibly go if you want stealth and protection is:

1) get an electric fan2) have radiator relocated further back3) have intercooler mounted in radiator's old spot4) get custom pipes welded5) duct as needed to flow air to the proper area
