Well...my 98 "Q" has hit 100,000 miles... at a stop light no less. I'm kind of in a panic, to the point of being paronoid... I'm listening for any, "strange noises" or unuseual moments. Other than the basic oil change and spark plug change...is there anything I need to be aware of...so I can get some sleep, tonight.

As long as services have been done when they should, you have nothing to worry about. I'll be hitting the 100k mark in my 98 sometime in the summer I suspect.

What's up with all the low miles????? My 97 has 125,000 and still strong!!! Always buying something though, finding out new stuff everyday.

100k. Its still a baby.

Might be time for suspension work. Since suspension degrades over time, you dont notice how bad it is until you have it serviced.

Buy her something for her mileage birthday, and save up. You will need a new Q in about 150,000 more miles.

Yep, it seems optimal engine performance on a decently maintained engine occurs between 70k and 140k, when the friction loss due to wear is overdone by loss of compression.

...get on your knees and pray to the "CASH" God.......because the Warranty God has left the house!!!!!!!Just kidding.I had the same anxiety attack when my 97 Avalon hit 100,000. I slowed down, pulled over and got uot the service manual (which I followed religuosly since 41,000 when I bought the car.) I call my very good independent toyo guy and made an appointment for the 100,000 service.long story short.....215k miles....no internal repairs, only external repair was the alternator and a leak at the pan (which was actually at the aluminuum spacer above the pan)And I ran that little 3liter V6 pretty hard....lots of freeway and intown for 5 yrs. Had the 02Q45 not dropped in my lap 5 months ago, I probably be at 230K. I ALWAYS changed the oil on schedule, either me or the abve shop guy.
