just got the harness from carl...but no spark

ok i got a s-13 w/ a 20 . no spark , checked the the green relays and checked the ecu plug ..

i sprayed the the motor with starting fluid no start i figure no spark.

what do i do ???????????????????????????????

how did you test the relay's?

First how did you check the no spark situation. If it had no spark why would you try to add starter fluid?

1. Check for spark at coil2. Check for voltage at coil3. Check for power from the ECUCheck all your grounds, even on the back of the head

There is a procedure just trouble shoot it.

Has to be something other than the harness because we all know that the harness is done bada$$

check the ignitor, you know how that connection is...might have gotten a bit shifted.also check that there is power to the coils, if the ecu powers up and turns on then there SHOULD be power to the coils (the trigger for the ecu is also the trigger for the coils).if the motor has gotten flooded out then you need to pull the plugs and let it air out.

also make sure the cas plug is fully seated, if it isnt then it wont run at all...ive had this happen to me a few times.

problem solved, apparently the efi fuse is important to have in place :p

Yeah he's a Dee Da Deeeee.

As soon as we plugged the ECCS fuse in she started right up with no starter fluid or anything.
