*drool* where did you get them? I'm contemplating between buddy clubs and zeals.

the quality is really good, i went with the zeals because of the features and the brand name reputation. i figure if i'm going to slap down that kind of cash, i'm going to go with the best i can afford.the rears are 30 way adjust, standard monotube, steel shock body for reliable street use.the front's are 30 way adjust, inverted monotube for extra rigidity, steel shock, pillowball with adjustable camber plate.the x coils have really linear spring rates and cause the car to ride very rough on the street. spring rates are 8k / 6k - front / rear.the ride is not kidney busting with the shocks at the softest setting and is actually not that bad. i have them set at 10 rear 7 front and it's noticeably stiffer. unlike other coilovers that have 15 or more way damping adjust, each click of the dial actually makes a difference.overall i very happy with them so far.

Why didnt the wheels fit after installing the coils? Where were they rubbing? The coilover spring looks so much smaller than the huge factory setup, its hard to imagine how your wheels fit next to the stockies, but not the coils.

the wheels are positioned next to the spring assy instead of the shock body like with a shock and spring setup.

I checked their site, but I don't see any listings for Zeal. Do they carry all the Zeal models for the S14? Mind telling what you paid for yours?

yeah, like chmercer stated, i thought i could get away with it but i ended up needing a 5.5mm wheel spacer to clear the tire from the coil and lower spring perch and even then it's still really close to the tire. i'll post more pics of it when i get home.i read the instructions, but thought my wheels are aftermarket and therefore it may clear but they didn't. i don't like having to run wheel spacers .i have 17x 8.5, 22 offset on the front with 255/45/17's, if i put on a 245/45/17, i'll have more room between the coil and tire.

that would be kg/mm. conversion from kg/mm to lbs./in. would be approx. 56. example: 8 kg/mm = 56 x 8 = 448 lbs./in.

448 lbs./in. - front spring rate336 lbs./in. - rear spring rate

kepani-who anxiously awaits profile pics of the beast.

on the rear i am running a 17x9.5, 38 offset ... 275/45/17.i just purchased a gt35r turbo and felt i needed a good sized rear tire to handle the power i'm planning on having on tap.

thanks kepani for clearing up the spring rates for me. here is a pic of the back end.
