one more step towards my turbo project... actually the only step so far. got them from a guy in my area parting out his CA18DET. total price - $30. score!

(pic is off my cell phone, sorry about the blur)

so now my question is, they're low impedance and the KA uses high impendance, correct? so i need to put a resistor on the line to the injectors is my understanding. what's all involved in that?

Hopefully you have a SOHC, or a Top feed fuel rail.

Can remember of the top of my head if the E uses high impedance AND the CA are low... but if that is the case yes... just solder some resistors anywhere near the injectors on the wire going to or from them. Near the injectors should be best (?), but anywhere between that and the ECU should work.

im not really to familiar with resistors aside from what they do... are there like a certain size or type I need?

Hmmm... I wrote about it a few weeks ago. If I'm not mistaken:

12V/15Ohms = 0.8Amps * 12V ~ 10W

Now... the KA uses 15Ohm injectors. The CA uses 2-3Ohms (better measure that). So you need 12Ohm resistors @ 10 Watts

Look in digikey.com or search the forums... I posted a link I believe
