Hey guys i just bought z wheels and tires for my car. The tires that came with the wheels are Faulken Azenis rt 615's. the sizes are 245/45/17 all around. Have any of you guys used or heard about these tires. I heard they are pretty sticky and very good for track or autocross. I am gonna use the tpms sensors, lug nuts, and center caps from my stock rims. Do i need to go to the dealership for them to have the sensors rescanned or is there an easier way to do it?The wheels have some scratches paint marks on them. What would be the best way to take them out? I wanna try clean them as much as possible before putting them on my car. What would you guys recommend. Thanks

Here are some pics

Why would you replace 17's with 17's? why didn't you get the 350z 18's?

I got a good deal on them, i really like the looks of the 17's over the z 18's, the tires are pretty good for track.

If you use your sensors they don't need to be reflashed.

I have 245/45/18 front and rear, they work great, but I wish I had some 17s for the track... You'll find them faster, especially if you get some 255/35/17... you'll fly

I still have my stock 17" spare wheel in the trunk, I may just by another one online, get some 17" drag / road tires, and install the set on the rear for track use

yea, ill put some 255/35 on these wheels when the 245/55's wear out. They have about 50% left so it shudnt bee too long. How much wieght difference do u think i have over urs?

I would say the 18" 350Z are 5lbs heavier than the 17" enthusiasts. Don't quote me on that.

I did notice little weight difference between the 18" set, and the 20"s believe it or not.

I found it amazing how light the 17" stock wheels were comparatively.

255/35/17 is a small tire...you won't like that on your car Vek. 10% too fast on the speed reading (you are going 50 but it says 55 on your dash)

255/40/17 is still 6% smaller

current size of 255/45/17 is about 3%

VDC has preference to about 5%. Any variance higher than that and it will likely freak out on you...
