Get this, I ordered an s14 SR20 6/24. They told me they had it in stock and would comp test and ship it W/I a few days. Never got my tracking # so I called 6 days later 6/29. They fed me some B/S line that some guy bought their last one right before my order. sure... He said they'll get one in by Fri 7/1 and ship out on 7/4 (canadian co. no IND day). Well, that never happened so I called today and guess what - the guy says that the wiring harness for the motor is cut but now he'll knock off $200. WOW... Big F***ing deal. The nice folks @ Heavy throttle quoted me a sympathetic $500 for a used one and said it'll be hard to find a "good one". I cancelled my order w/ Jspec and reccommend that NO ONE GOES THERE EVER!!!!!!

Sean8564 said don't trust Canadians...weird how you got Canada out of it??? So defensive, but yet idiotic at the same time.

It has nothing to do with canadians being bad. It has to do with the legal barrier that is present when dealing with companies in other countries. Canadian companies are best for canadian buyers and american companies are best for american buyers. I've bought parts from canada with no problems, but I would not buy a motorset from canada because there is too much that can go wrong with purchasing a motorset from anywhere, let alone if the company is in another country, which makes it 5000 times harder to to get you money back if they decide to screw you.

in the end it is just best to deal with in your own country. No matter where you go if a deal like that was going on across borders with the advantage of ripping someone off, it can always happen. People from everywhere will try to take advantage of a dog eat dog situation. Maybe many americans get problem with canadians but it was sean's own opinion so you don't have to flame because of that just give your opinion and finish there.

EDIT: damn J-spec got their first!

I got screwd by A.R.D. performance, royaly! First off I paid for my front clip and was qouted a good price and a date when it should of arrived. The due date arrived then left , so I called to find out what the deal was . I was told that the price that I was qouted was for the wrong front clip and that actually it was going to cost me $300 more , and my shipping order had been lost. Then my clip arrived two weeks after the date promised in horrible condition. When I finally put the motor in , the damn thing would not fire up. So I double checked everything! Come to find out my injecters where not firing due to the WRONG E.C.U. BEING SENT ! So I sent it back (at there cost) only to receive a badly, but functional, beat up unit. Then I ran the car to see if everything was set up properly. After running it for one night the water pump blew and almost over heated the motor. So I sent that back and was promised a reimbursment for all the hassle " which I still haven't received , and it's going on a month and a half now". Come to find out on initial start up I heard a feint but oncomfertable noise which turned out to be a thrown rod. I had a "30 Day start up warranty" which I had just past due to waiting for the right parts. So in all I got screwed out of $3500 dollars and my time . SO I kind of feel your pain. SO NEVER NEVER BUY FRONT CLIPS FROM A.R.D. PERFORMANCE YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
