hey everybody, i just got a set of new wheels..well not new but their used and i got them for a good deal, all 4 plus used tires for 40 bucks!...

well a little about the wheels, their 16x7, the offset is 35 on all of them...first off is this gonna sit flush with the car or is it gonna stick it out ghetto style?....second, the tires that came with it are 205/50/16...wondering what size should i get?...i was thinking about 225/50/16...but then again i don't really know much about wheels and tires sizes...so if you could enlighten me i'd be much obliged, thanks for your help, peace

205/55-16 is same as OEM225/50-16 diameter is also OK

The 7" +35 won't be flush or stick out, but it would be gay if they did either anyway.

So we had trouble fitting a 225 width on a 7" +35 wheel onto the front of both my car(coilover) and my friend's car with KYB struts.

We had to do 205/55-16 to clear the Front strut, and on the back we did 225/50-16.

225/50 would be my choice as well.

how far do you plan on dropping it? if youre just using springs then keep the same size all around, but coilovers might present a problem like Smith said

well looking for just daily, but i got a problem,...i went to put on my wheels today and they don't fit, i'm so pissed,...they're a 4 lug universal pattern but i guess 4x114.3 isn't one of them!....the thing is that i get one hole onto the hub, and the other 3 are so close to going on, i mean, it's like the size is 4x113 or something crazy like that, i was wondering could i just redrill a milimeter or 2 in each hole to widen out the spacing?...if so should i do this myself, or take it to a machine shop? thanks

You should NOT drill yet another set of holes. What will end up happening will be holes shaped like an hour glass and as you tighten the lugs the lug nut seat will deform. In time the lug nut seat will fail and your wheels will fall off.(worst case scenario).

No machine shop around here will do what you're asking due to liability.
