I just got my front and rear strut bar from ebay. **** man it doesn't fit!!! Front one is hard to get on and it won't fit. The rear one fits but the adjustable thingy is too short so putting it on, the middle bar comes right off. Any suggestion?

yeah i did and it blows!! Reminder for all you mods out there. Don't go cheap. Cheap means don't fit. What should I do? I only paid 50 bucks for both of them.

What year 240 you got?

I got a 98 & my OBX front strut bar fit perfect. I forget the cost, but it was fairly cheap.

I've also got an OBX rear low tie bar that fit perfect. Again I forgot the exact cost but it fit perfectly as well.

they both made a world of diffrence :D I'd givem thumbs up

Tanabe I think has a rear strut bar for the 95-98 models for about 120$ I aint bought one, but might.

i bought my front and rear strutbars off ebay... was like $75 cdn for the pair... not the most performance enhancing bars, but they fit fine for me.

Did it just fit right in? Any struggle? This is kind of frustrating. I think it should fit maybe I'm not doing it right. Does it matter if the car is on flat ground? Would it affect if its on a slight slope?

don't think there is any special placement... i just mounted the brackets first then I adjusted the bar to fit afterwards.... they may have sent you the wrong mounting plates

had the same problem today.. take the the little locking nut off of the bar to give you more space to adjust everything. I think the front one dented my hood actually, be careful.. It seemed to close fine once I got it fitted but then I noticed a depression in the hood, nothing serious or unfixable in the diveway. To late now, **** it.

yeah i have my front one on a slight angle so that i don't bend the hood... keep an eye out for that one

you could go to home depot and get whatever size and length bolts you need to change out. :)
