congratulations on the purchase.there isnt too much you can really do to them considering their not twin turbos but there are a few things you can do to free up a little power.1. intake: some people love the jwt pop chargers and some people also say the apexi power are great choices.2. headers: some people say that headers are the single best mod you can do to free up power on the n/a versions. stillen makes pretty good headers and ultimatez's arent too bad. there are other exhaust parts too that would help performance wise such as downpipes and high flow cats.3. ECU: ecu is another common upgrade for the 300zx's. jwt and stillen make great ecu's.4. clutch: a lot of people get a higher performance clutch especially with the cars being between 11 and 17 years old as the clutchs start to slip from wear and tear. jwt makes good clutches for the n/a's.5. pulleys: these are another thing that people say makes a huge difference. the most common pulleys are made by unorthodox racing.6. flywheel: some people choose to get an upgraded flywheel. most people get this done at the same time as the clutch. jwt, stillen and fidanza make great flywheels.
thats pretty much the stopping point for a lot of people who own the n/a versions of the 300zx. after they hit that point they usually either stop or some people do twin turbo swaps which can be pretty costly. some people take it a step further. i have heard that there is someone with a 350 hp n/a 300zx on here. anything more then i would have listed would be a major change.
by the way... im sure a lot of us would love to see some pictures. post a few pics.
