I haven't driven my car in almost six months (300zx Z32)! Just got out the shop after a water replacement. Now my cars starts lagging the moment it reaches operating temperature.
Someone please help!!!!

Check ECU for codes. It sounds a bit like the CTS, coolant temp sensor acting up. If the ECU does not know the coolant is warm it will continue to run rich which will bog things down. Does it re-start if you shut it off once its warm?

It's starts up without a problem. It seems to take awhile for the speed to kick in after a stop at a red light and even when I shift gears afterwards

Guessing you meant to say water pump replacement? Or was it coolant flush?

If they did not properly bleed the system the CTS can get an on/off signal. Make sure the coolant is up to the radiator cap and there are no bubbles while engine running. Don't open a hot rad cap!

Oh yes sorry it was a water pump replacement. Now the belt or pulley is knocking against the casing! I'm taking it back to the mechanic first thing in the morning!

New timing belt, changed the fuel filter, cleaned and oiled the JWT pop charger, put techtron and Lucas fuel cleaning system in the tank and I'm still having the same problem!!

Did your mechanic set the timing to 15*? The CAS should be roughly centered. It's also possible the timing belt was installed incorrectly.

Did you check the ECU for codes
