Just got my B&G springs installed today.I don’t know if anyone remembers about a month ago B&G suspensions was looking for a Versa for a test vehicle and they were only 2 miles from my house so I took them up on the offer. When I originally went down there they took a bunch of measurements and told me they would contact me within a month or so.So the other day I got the call that the new springs were in so I went in today and we swapped them out in about 1 hr!I was very surprised just how easy it was to swap out a set of springs on this car.So far I will tell you that the car sits just about 1.5 inches lower and does not look like a 4x4 anymore. The car has the same ride and smooth feel as stock for normal driving conditions and feels much more stable in the turns.I also have a long road trip to VEGAS next week so I will have a better report to give after I return from my trip.

I would also like to know how some of the other sport springs compare please let me know what you have likes and dislikes.

Nice. Do you know how much they plan on charging for them? I'd love to see them, I sent you an email with my contact info.

I think they are looking at $280 for the set of four and that is retail but they say no one pays retail so I would tend to believe $200 range + or -.That is just what I think!!!!

And I think that is most reasonable for a good quality spring set.And yes I have seen stuff that fleabay that sells from the mid to high $100 range + shipping.but try to remember (You Get What You Pay For)

But Please remember I have nothing to do with B&G suspension! But I do like to put out my honest opinion on products that I have used or I have tested good or bad.And everyone should do the same.

I will call them in the morning and get all the spec's on the springs

very nice subtle drop, significantly lower , but in a stock looking way. how's speed bump clearance? i wouldn't mind a nice drop like that (when my V does arrive) as long as the ride is still smooth. i'm much too old to feel as if i'm in a honda civic hatch dragging over speed bumps.

I was worried about the speed bumps as well because there are 7 of the wide speed wide style speed bumps on the way to drop off my kids for school when I say wide I mean the ones that are 4 feet wide and 4 inches tall. So I came to the first one real slow and went straight forward hit the bump no problem it did feel a little harder then with the stock springs but no bottiming out or any kind of scrapping at all.then I hit the rest a little harder trying to see if I was going to bottom out but it never happened.I never had to drive on a angle on any of the bumps big plus!

This Versa is my daily driver and If I was bottoming out on my daily travels I would remove the springs at once!

I am not the youngest person either at 38 but I am not the oldest......

I still want to see someone drop it lower. When I get my Tanabe coilovers...whenever that is...I'm going to drop it the lowest it goes, all 2 3/4in. But ya looking at your height now you shouldn't have any problems with bumps at all, but on dips I would take a slight angle, like those really amazing why the hell does that dip dip so much dips.

My old 240sx use to be 3/4ins off the ground. I would avoid bumps all together unless I didn't have a choice, then all you would hear is scraping the whole time as i cross. Thank goodness i didnt have a body kit and it was only my piping that would hit.

Reason I'm getting Tanabe is because the people that are installing them for me can get them cheap...alot cheaper then versaspeed. I wanted the ksports but over all they are the same...unless you are planning to put alot of strain on your car.

Dont have some on the car. Just an alternative to Tanabe, that's all. If i've ever change my suspension, Ksport it is. Road here suck so, i would install some ( heavy-duty coil-overs ).
