Took the Q out on the regular Sunday wash run and pulled up next to a new Chrysler 300 SRT8.

Damn that car looks mean.

It also goes quite fast, since it walked away from me from 0-100.

I might have to plug in some laughing gas, either that or just let the old girl enjoy the easy life.

Hehe, yeah those cars are damn fast with the Hemi. What is it, like 425hp, 400 ft-lb? Though I'd love to see how that car hold up in say 10 years.

I agree - my Q does look (and go) pretty good for a 14 year old car.

Those hemi motors are going to tear those chassis apart within 10 years. Every piece of that interior will be creaking!

Yeah, I saw one of those today and thought about "playing", but the boys were in the car. So, no chance.

As a general rule, don't mess with anything from a stop, catch them when you're doing ~20 (so the Q can downshift to 1st) or ~60 where you can use the full VVT powerband through 2nd. You'll have more fun .
