The scratch first. It is not too bad, but it is the first scratch, I don't even know who did it and how? Now that I know it is there, and I keep looking at it and it is an eyesore. I just ordered some touch up paints.

The mats fitted very well, what do you think?

I know how you feel.

Sorry to hear about the scratch.

Funny though, on my black Altima, there appears to be white underneith. When I get scratches, it looks horrible--the white shows through. Why weren't they smart enough to put black metal underneith or whatever they put underneith, why doesn't it match the paint?

I say funny, because, on yours, it appears there is a dark color underneith. ARE THEY doing this to us on purpose, so that scratches look even uglier? White cars have dark metal or paint underneith. Black cars have white? Hmmmmmmm. Something to ponder....

On another note:

Nice mats. I got mine two weeks ago! They are just lovely.

Driver's Side Kickplate

The mats that come with the car are cheap painted cardboard glued to left over lint found at junk yards.

Look at the damage after just two months.

Factory Mats vs All Weather Mats

Hey, you gotta get the kick plates next.

LOOKNG GOOOOOD!

Hey man, just to let u know, the bumpers aren't metal, thats why when they get scratched u see plastic/fiberglass whatever they are made up of come out, and its a dark color under my white paint neways, no idea why ur car comes out white underneath....but yah, not metal unless its the hood, doors, roof and trunk....oh and the quarterpanels...touching up scratches is more of a cosmetic thing, but if u get a deep cut on the metal, like the hood...which i unfortunately got because of road construction! Then you should touch it up to prevent rusting in the future!

Thanks. I scratched up my bumper a couple weeks ago...and there is white underneith. I also have scratches on the door and here and there on the car. So, under the plastic and metal, there appears to be white.

How easy is it to touch up the paint and make it look good?

I've had the all weather mats for about a month now and the back mats never fit right. Hell, i couldn't even push the seat back. But after looking at your pics, I see know that the idiots at the parts dept ordered me the sedan mats and not the coupe. I'll be getting with them on Monday and have them order me the right part.
