Hello All!

I recently purchased a 2007 Infiniti M35x !

It's a solid ride and I enjoy driving it as each day goes by!

I figured since I got this car - I might as well join a great forum learning from other members and enthusiasts that have the same interest in this wonderful car!

Sorry if some came out blurry! - will take better ones soon.

I've been browsing around on the M35 section and saw a lot of cool mods that you guys have done to your cars that make the car really stand out - be it from engine mods to appearance mods.

So Nico Club - What mods do you recommend I do - as subtle or as exuberant as they may be - to get the most out of this machine?

I'm also looking to get some summer rims for it. Preferably black.

Suggestions welcome !

Looking forward to the responses :)

Get some 35% Tints with 45% on the windshield. That's my current set up and I love it.

Congratulations - I bought a 2007 M35x about 11 months ago and really enjoy driving my car. First recommendation, if you still have the original Goodyear RSA's - upgrade them immediately with some great tires (Michelins or Continentals). My second upgrade was to the sound system. I added the USA Spec PA15-INFI as I have both Satellite and Navigation. It took about two hours to install and I can use use both the Apple Interface and the Auxilliary Interface for other sources. Finally, when it comes time to start replacing brake pads - which comes awfully early with these cars - look up the thread on Brakemotive. I installed the full set in October and they are a great upgrade.

I've got 66k on my machine now and still have the original brake pads..? But I needed new shocks all around and new front wheel bearings at about 53k.

Thanks for the feedback!

This model unfortunately does not come with navi - but I still would like to do the hack to watch DVD's while the car is in motion - is that still possible if I do not have the navi ?

Also, would an Infiniti dealership be the only place I can get the navi installed?

I currently have the Bose speaker system in it so I do not think I need to change the speaker system.

Search this forum , people do Nav swap from non-NAV to NAV themselves for under 1000 bucks.. dealer would probably bs you it cant be done or give you a ridicilous price for that.As for nav hack on non nav car as long as you have aux inputs it should work to play video while in motion .. and as for mods it all depends what you want to do to your car and how much you want to spend... its all in here man. Congrats on your purchase and Happy New Year!!!

Welcome to NICO!! Congrats on your purchase...you'll enjoy every minute!!!

too bad the timing wasn't right, cause you could've picked up a fellow NICO mbr's car (bbs350z) - he's got a post in here about selling his M35x (with mods).....

Thanks for your guys feedback.

I was looking to put a aux cable in - any suggestions on how to begin ?

Tired of CDs!

Also, I have factory tints in my M - do you guys recommend I not put aftermarket ones in ?

Thanks!
