Now you just have to evacuate them and seal them to prevent corrosion from the atmosphere.

I can do what I've done with all my compressors. Drain out the fluid then block up the holes. Evacuate implies vacuuming which is done when installing it. Some junkyards have them sitting open on the shelf for years and they still work.

new compressor{oem} comes with oil installed and suction & discharge openings covered with rubber plugs held on by a metal backing plate with bolts,it is leaktite, yet not under vacuum.I transferred this assembly to my old compressor when I installed the new.

So what made you get a new one?

original one still cooled, was quiet, but the car seemed to take too long to initially cool down after parked in hot sun-replaced compressor and dryer-every tech looked at me like I was crazy to replace a working compressor that tested to spec - maybe a new dryer only would have done the trick?oh well, its all good now!

Sorry, no 94 compressors. The 94 compressor has a larger pulley on it. 90-93 would work, you'd just have to change the belt to the slightly smaller belts of the early G50 but who wants to go backwards?
