Just got Backed into...what a drag

Some guy just backed into the rear of my 90 Q. That Sucks!!! The damage could be worse, it crunched the rear center tail light, the long one that says infiniti, and put a small dent above it in the metal. It scuffed the bumper but I think it is ok. Does anybody have a spare center tail light for an early Q the can sell me? It would be great if I can find one soon and fix this thing. What a bummer.

Wow... that sucks. I hope you got the tire iron out of the trunk and taught the guy some respect for the Q

I was backing out of my driveway and he was backing out of the pizza place just across from me, its a narrow street. He imediatly said "we were both backing out so its both our faults". I gotta talk to my insurance guy about that. I got his info, but I just want to fix it as cheaply and quickly as possible. He was in this funky POS Hundye SUV or somthing like that. He had minimal damage, just a few splinters from my tail lens in his bumper. He had other crunches from previous mishaps, I dont think he can drive very well. He was a dork.

i got backed into by some girl at school in my J crushed the center reflector part on that too. Just check ebay for a while or car-part.com since the dealer will charge you way too much.

If you want a new tail light assembly let me know. I still have my '91 Q45 tail lights left over from the tail light upgrade i did. Updated to '96 Q45 tail lights.

That sounds like a good offer. Did it damage the paint above the center trim? If not maybe you can get it taken out by one of those paintless dent repair places. The center trim is easy to replace - mine was cracked on the corner by the previous owner (on Q1). At that time I paid about $125, but I've seen them for less lately.
