Congrats! I have a 3,5 CVT also (wished I had a 6MT as well) but there are some performance mod you can get.

- Dangeris Dual Projector headlights (20hp at least & shameless plug) :chuckle:
- Racingline Y-Pipe
- Cat back exhaust ( I have the fast intentions)
- Bully Dog Tuner
- Underdrive pulley

You can get a turbo for the CVT from Speed Force Racing but prepared to shell out almost $6K for the kit and another $2-3K for labor and ECU flash. To me it's not worth the money. We also have a member that uses NOS and I'm doing that also. Have the kit, just haven't installed it yet. :yesnod

Dangeris; I'm sure your projectors do more for looks than any of the performance mods do for performance.

If you don't get the Dangeris Dual Projector headlights, you're an idiot.

gotta earn those sponsorships dude, and from what i've heard, there are none for the turbo unless you hit up SFR and ask to work something out with them. even then i say it's still not likely.

welcome to the forums though!

I just put my coils on the lowest setting so I don't know the exact height. Sorry

welcome BP!

I would wait on the bullydog tuner until you get a couple bolt ons (intake, exhaust, y-pipe).

From experience, the intake is just awesome (cool sound, little bump in power), and lowering (eibachs or coilovers - i say coilovers if you can save) are the best. The tires that come on the 08s are awful, so coilovers + wheels/tires make a crazy difference in how the car rides/handles. Will be much sportier.

There's a wealth of info on this forum, so check it all out a bit. You can definitely learn a lot, everything from design ideas to avoiding other people's mistakes.

i think you're still a few posts too short of being able to send PMs. And intake + exhaust + y-pipe is a great start for performance mods, thought for the sake of money i would substitute the exhaust for a rear sway bar and springs. just my personal preference though

for the 3.5's, Tein, BC Racing, Megan Racing and I think D2 make coils for the coupe. I've only had experience with BC Racing, which I absolutely love, though I hear Tein coilovers are better suited for daily driving.
