Just got a VIN!!!

Well, after a series of unfortunate occurrences, I finally got a VIN! My car's scheduled to be here the week of 12/15. I know that screw-ups are still possible but it sure does make me feel better to have some sort of evidence that this car exists.

One question: is it possible for me to track this car with the VIN or does the dealer have to do that?

But seriously, I don't know of a way that us consumers can track the car down by it's VIN.
