Just got a surprise with the new Q...

Went to look at another 94 Q45 today. Black on Black with 108k on it. Wasn't expecting too much but man was I surprised.

It's got a fully functioning active suspension and all 4 corners are in great shape! Taking ownership in a few days but have no need for the setup as I have a full custom static drop kit already made for it.

Question is, would anyone here like the active stuff when I take it off? I have no idea what it's worth, but I know it's ridiculous expensive new.

What a SHAME to get rid the active suspension (especially if it's in good shape).. I guarntee your "custom static drop kit" is garbage compared to how the active suspension operates.

I agree with Wes as I can think of at least one person who would want hist active car to just work after all that money he spent. I guess the grass is greener on the other side.

I am sure that I am going to be impressed with how it rides and handles. I may even keep it on the car. Don't know yet. I bought the car not knowing that it was there. So I had planned to swap out what I thought was going to be a blown stock suspension. The current Q that I have has my other suspension setup on it and it rides great. While I appreciate that you are confident that the active will impress me to the point of keeping it on the car, there is no need to say that my current setup is garbage.

That is why I posted here. If I remove it from the car I am sure that there are a few people here who could benefit from the components that I have. I am just trying to help out. I got the car at a more than fair price so I am not too worried about letting the stuff go really cheap. I guess that sometimes a person looking out for a community that has helped him out many times can be lost when viewed from the other side.
