Just got a new Alpine Monoblock amp

Hey guys,

After having many issues with my old Kicker ZR120 amplifier running to my JL Audio W3 D4, I decided to go out and dish out some money for a new one. I only had two companies in mind....... 1. JL Audio 2. Alpine

Well, considering the fact that I wasn't gonna spend $450 on a 250x1 monoblock from JL, I decided to go to circuit city to look for Alpine's. Well, I picked up a 200x1 monoblock Alpine amp that was a floor model, but I got it with a 3yr warranty for only $160. I installed it in about 10 minutes and it sounds soooo sweet. It is so much clearer and louder than my Kicker, it really makes the JL sound better.

I am usually afraid of floor models, but you can sometimes find a good deal now and then. Luckily for me, people never tested this amp out because of all the "flashy" sony and mtx amps that were twice their size! To bad people don't realize that the Alpine, even though being smaller, packs a bigger bite!
