Yeah Android isn't as polished as Apple's iOS but they are getting more and more comparable.

Glad you like your new toy!

Root your phone, run CM. You will be glad you did. Especially with Gingerbread-based CM7 on the horizon.

GM6.1 is fantastic, and adds a lot of features that feel like they should be native parts of the stock android experience.

Congrats and if you want to make this thing run then get your self rooted with z4root, buy an app called bootstrap and then flash a rom like Apex or Gummyjar, both are super fast. There is no CM for the X, but there are a bunch of devs that make good roms for it. Dont buy into the looked bootloader crap, I have mine overclocked to 1.3 ghz and with a custom rom that makes the phone look and preform like Gingerbread. Its way faster than my old iphone and it puts my coworkers ip4 to shame, he does have alot more apps tho so hes got me beat there. But android is closing in.

I just rooted mine and I'm running Rubix 1.97. Overclocked to 1.4ghz...and she screams!!! 10x faster than the OEM ROM, and I can use my phone as a wifi hotspot without paying Verizon.

highly recommend you root your phone and start playing around with different ROMS.
