lets talk about going faster. mainly this car will be my fire department respoce vehical. i live 2 miles from the firehouse on a very non travled strait road.i know the basic of exhaust and air filter, new to nissan and heard there was a supercharger floating around or something. looking for about a 60-100hp jump without spray.

Well there is a supercahrger for the maxima but it wont come cheap. the question is how much are you willing to put into the car?

i got some money to play with and more coming in from parting my 80 camaro race car. im not to good with computer tuning so for a plug and play kit im sure a few grand. cheaper is better but reliable is key. although i did think about getting a crank pulley, m62, and fabbing a tensioner and just running that with meth injection and fabbing the intake to accept the sc but already fabbed is good too.

Im thinking about selling my s/c kit off my car thats why i asked how much you where looking to spend. its a Vortec V1 s/c with all the piping and fittings to bolt it on. it also has a fmu to add more fuel so it would be bolt on. It is a stillen kit but i have to fix a small part of the pipe that was damaged. Other than that the kit is on a 99 Auto right now .

sounds funny. maybe cause im used to roots style. anyhow how do you set the safc2? im definitly interested. what other mods do you have and what were the dyno #sever run it at the track? best time?

Uncorected numbers were 270whp/280wtq on a mustang dyno. Corrected numbers where 250whp/260wtq threw and auto also. And yea they sound diff than roots. Well when you get a SAFCII you would either want to get a wideband O2 setup or have it dyno tuned.

It intercepts the maf signal and alters it to send more fuel. Thats the only thing that you would have to buy since i wouldnt be able to sell that. but it will take me 2-3 days to get it off once its sold. So not long at all.
