Just got a 1993 Nissan D21 Truck - wont idle...

I just got a Nissan 1993 D21 truck and it won't idle. The owner had it since new and said it ran great. But he parked it under a cedar tree for around a year and now it'll rev up but won't idle/won't stay running. I cleaned out the jets thinking that it could be varnished gas but it still does the same thing. Should I just get new jets? The problem seems to lie in the fact that it has sat. Any suggestions?
