just got 91 q45 brake calipers,, wondering

Just install how you took your old calipers off, really all you need to know is the bleeding part, which im sure you know how to do.

yup plug and play or er.. r & r - remove and replace. oh wait you need to cut the backing plate. The hardest part IMO.

u dont have to cut the backplate... well the whole thing, just the piece that overlaps the cailper...

i bent mine back and it fits perfectly, no rubbing w the rotor and will stop alot of the dust



theres a picture i have after the swap

thanks for the info,,,,will do swap once roters,stainless steal brake lines and pads come in,, ill put pics of install after i do install

Wow, did you seriously not paint them? That's horrible. Leave it to a 240 owner...

haha its on my to do list.... i bought a set off here that i thought were good, turns out they needed rebuilt painted those got them on, just a bad experience....

got this set, try 3 to get everything to line up right, (had one bracket that was wrong as well) ment i wanted to mount them before i left for school...

needless to say i will paint them this winter when (and if hopefully) i pick up a daily
