Just gettin' myself out there!

Hey guys, the name's JP/Haru whichever is easier for ya, and I drive a 2000 Nissan X-terra. It's mah baby, but it's the 2wd, 3.3L v6. Originally i just wanted to like take stuff off the SE xterra and mount it on mine. Ie. the supercharger, the transmission, the front axle. But... I've been talking with a buddy of mine and we figure i could either a. drop a pathfinder 3.5L in there, or drop a 350Z engine in. He's saying it should possibly work but, i'm ignorant about specifics like when it comes to engine swaps. I'm very eager to learn though and feel free to message me or w/e.
