tore apart my motor today found out that the crank needs the oil pump drive extended. common misconception is that r33,r34 rb25 doesnot need the oil pump drive extended i didnt think much about but it till now and i have an r34 engine.

the crank drive for the oil pump you know.......it only extended 1/4 inch into the oil pump gear thus when you rev it high it spins and doesnt engage to the pump thus you get oil starvation and boom. anyway i got a machine shop here that has done this before for my friend with an r32 crank.

Oh that, yeah I have seen a few cranks that went out like that
