The V Maxlife is deecent but is no longer the same oil that won the awards when it came out.

They took out some of the Moly that was in teh original formulation.

Hot tip: If you want a great oil but not spend much and you dont live haft thru a northern winter:Valvoline Durablend 10w-40 meets ACEA A3 the toughest spec for performance oil.Tougher than ACEA A1, ACEA A5, GM4718M, MB229.1.

Its one of only 2 oils that are not full $5/qt synthtics, that do.

so this isn't a HOT deal? maybe just "warm?" i have a '90 240sx, with a sohc motor with about 90,000+ miles on it? any recommendations for oil for a person living in "ON FIRE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA IN THE MIDDLE OF OCTOBER" who drives about 20-30 miles of traffic lights every day with barely any highway usage? thanks!

Its a good edeal.its a decent oil.

Get it in 10w-40 for your situation,Or spend $$ for the Durablend in same weight w/ better specs.
