ok other info. i am using the r32 engine mounts and crossmember, and the front sway bar is fine, and the gearstick goes into the exact same sort of postion as NIGHTS one does in his photo.

but the r33 gearbox mount and crossmember doesn't line up with the holes. the wholes are further back that the crossmember holes are (thats the r33 gearbox crossmember)

help please.

you are a life saver.

at the moment, whilst the car isn't on the road. i have just bolted up the crossmember to the chasis, and letting it rest on the box.

cheers

p.s cooler piping gets done next week so should be going pretty soon.

Do you have to do this for the RB20?

i used a different method than night. i had some brackets made that would allow me to bolt the transmission crossmember to the transmission mount and chassis. had to slot the mount to get it to work just right. here are some pictures. all total cost me $60 to have a machinist do the work.

custom bracket

slotted mount

brackets installed

night, could you post some pictures of your spacer method. i'm curious what that looks like.

hey zed, those look really good. how does the shifter line up in the hole, any pics to show this? your custom spacers look a lot like night described in his posts, although you used a slotted mount vs. the flipped around mount. were you thinking about selling these because i'm sure a lot of people would be interested.
