I just finished everything. When i started it up, the car ides fine at 1000, but the wideband does not give me a reading b/c its above 17(AEM UEGO). When i rev it to exactly 2000, wideband jumps between 14 and 15. if i let go of the gas, car dies. I am thinking i have a boost leak. Can this be a ECU problem b/c originally i had the ECU chipped for 800cc injectors but i switched to 72lb top feed. I got the new chips from enthalpy for the 72lb injectors, but i am worred if they programed it correctly b/c they seem to be very busy these days. Also when i turn the adjustable FPR down from the stock PSI to about 28, during idle, the wideband comes back down to 16 ish.

Mods are:Enthalpy ECUT3/T4 turbo72lb msd injectorsfuel pump and adj. FPRetc.

At idle, it has some constant negative psi, i think -10psi. When i rev it to about 2000 or more, it goes to about -5. It never once read 0 psi or postive psi.

Doesnt really sound like an ecu problem, and if your vacuum reading is only 10 you have a leak.

I think it should be in the neighborhood of -20, sometimes -17ish on a cold day, but it's holding a solid idle at 1000rpm at -10? where's your bov and mafs located? Sometimes a bov mounted after a mafs can let in/out unmetered air and mess with your engine..

I checked it today, it was at -20 during idle but when reved, it never goes pass -5. i removed the intake manifold so i can take out the smog stuff and to repalce the crappy stock hose clams around the IACV w/ some worm clams. I also plan to pressure test the intercooler piping. Hopefully this will fix the boost leak if that is the problem. Any other ideas why this would happen, just incase this does not fix it? Thanks for the help everyone.

no i think he said that when he adjust the fuel pressure down to stock at idle, the afr's go down to 16ish..which is kinda high right? maybe the ecu not workin with the injectors? or maybe i'm just trippin lol

yeah that is correct. i thought it was very strange too so i am thinking i might also have a problem w/ the FPR but i dont think a broken FPR could cause to car to die after reving expecally since the wideband reads 14/15 during 2000 rpm, which means its not running crazy rich from a broken FPR.
